The Partnership works to celebrate Morecambe Bay's rich maritime, coastal and seaside heritage, its exceptionally diverse habitats and wide range of species.
We have been working with the Morecambe Bay Partnership team over the last two years on interpretation and marketing materials for wildlife, community and heritage projects. We developed a distinctive visual identity with a consistent tone, narrative and illustrative approach across all outputs.
We worked with our good friends Minerva Heritage on Our Bay Our Birds which worked to increase awareness of bird species and their habitats in the bay. The project also helped to educate visitors in ways to protect birdlife and take responsibility for their behaviour.
The illustrations by Alan Duncan evoke a wonderful vintage seaside holiday feel. Whether it’s wildlife, people or heritage sites, Alan’s illustrations are always spot on, and have become a rather lovely house style for this work.
This brief, again with Minerva, promoted heritage and wildlife sites surrounding 10 stations on the Furness Line, between Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness.
Alongside interpretation projects, we also work with MBP and Minerva to develop guides to heritage sites in the area. The aim of these guides is to highlight significant archaeological finds and to help educate visitors in the histories of these places.
Morecambe Bay Lives was a lovely brief, working with a collection of stories from the Bay’s locals, sharing memories of the past.
